Grouse River Offices – Phase One
Expanding your business? When Grouse River took on additional office space to house their growing corporate and sales team they called on Hatch Interior Design to help. This was round two for the Hatch and Grouse River duo, having completed an award winning retail store project together in 2013.
We aimed for the design of the 3000 square foot office to provide an inspiring and energizing workspace with a nod to their flagship retail location. Abstracted tree features, graphic outdoor imagery, live edge wood, and topography inspired design as seen in the store are all reinvented within the office design.
The heart of the workspace, a central boardroom, is linked to the remainder of the office by a geometric wood boardwalk loosely reminiscent of a river. Contemporary wood paneling, combined with a dynamic flooring installation, bold typeface signs, and stylized woodcut graphics offer a creative Scandinavian appeal. The resulting design, dedicated for the use of Grouse River staff, emphasizes the company’s brand and lets employees know they are a valued and important piece of the organization.
