Does the interior of your office reflect your company’s core values and brand message? Pela approached Hatch Interior Design to design a spacious interior after they chose to locate the head office of their forward thinking and sustainably focused business in Kelowna, BC .
Pela’s ideology was the starting point from which the design took shape. The use of natural materials, access to natural daylight, energy efficient fixtures and ergonomic workstations were at the top of the must-have list. Implementing a custom bamboo top for all worksurfaces provided a call back to their eco-friendly message while also providing a warmth that compliments Pela’s bold brand colours.
A minimalist approach allowed for the focus to be on their product while also providing flexibility for future growth within their space. From a company culture standpoint, Pela’s focus on building a strong internal community and a collaborative approach led to providing two large meeting rooms, a couple of smaller breakout spaces, and a large kitchen and lounge area. Pela is a company with a phenomenal mission and we feel fortunate to be a part of their story.
