Is your corporate office relocating or expanding? Porter Ramsay LLP; lawyers who accommodate a variety of practice areas, moved into a new building in Kelowna, BC and engaged Hatch to complete the interior design. Their 5000 sq.ft. space is located on the top floor of the newly constructed Interior Health building with amazing views to the lake and mountains beyond.
Porter Ramsay wanted to rethink the way they worked with the goal of creating a more efficient space that allowed for growth within the same square footage as their previous space. Our team developed a floor plan that met their request by providing a flexible and well-organized office design, and determined the minimum area required to do so to assist in lease negotiations. The result is an interior that meets the needs of partners and staff without feeling too tight.
The corporate office interior design aesthetic conveys a professional and competent business. Warm maple, concrete, glass and navy blue accents were the palette for this project which reflect Porter Ramsay’s brand and request for a somewhat industrial feel. Floating ceiling ‘clouds’ delineate the open workstations for legal assistants, while the corridors stay open to the structure above. Maple panels and slats add a natural and warm component to the space and create visual interest throughout.
