Attending the Dentist isn’t always the most enjoyable experience for some, but at Seymour Dental, walking into your Dentist’s office is more reminiscent of a warm beach vacation than a Dental Clinic. This inspiring space allows patients to leave any worries at the door and sink into the calm of the Waiting room.
When entering Seymour Dental, guests are greeted with a black and white oversized graphic of a lighthouse, secondary only to the glowing feature reception desk straight ahead. Designed to give the impression of waves crashing onto a sandy beach, this reception desk centerpiece is sure to catch the eye. The warmth of the surrounding wood look millwork and organic curves work in unison to enhance the soothing coastal vibe that defines this clinic. Flooring transitions between warm wood and a sand-look inset along the length of the hallway connect the reception to the working areas of the clinic. Each treatment room is outfitted with a shiplap wall and custom vinyl installation of unique beach imagery photographed by the Dentist himself!
Hatch worked closely with the Client group to ensure the space provided maximal functionality for both staff and patients. The circular corridor layout and perimeter treatment rooms with a centralized Sterilization Room. Lab, and Washrooms is a practical and effective layout to accommodate the two Dentists hard at work on either side of the clinic. Downstairs, staff have access to a large shared space in the basement with a Kitchen and a Gym space to prioritize care at the workplace. The well rounded balance of function and aesthetic in this clinic resulted in a beautiful space for all to enjoy!
