Are you moving into a previously occupied space and need help to make it your own? Care Dental moved into a 5000 sq.ft. stand alone building that once housed a restaurant to open their flagship location. This is an exciting project for Hatch as we were involved in the complete redesign of both the interior and exterior, and the transformation is something we are proud of.
Care Dental’s approach to the design of their clinic is a little different. They want their patients to feel as relaxed as possible, as though they are visiting a spa, and needed the image to fit the brand. Our team worked closely with theirs to determine how the process of a typical visit to the dentist could be altered to achieve their goal.
The impression upon entering the space is one of a high-end spa with bright yet soft finishes, backlit imagery of a local cherry orchard, beautiful seating, and a reception desk carved from a large stump. The feeling is calm and serene, not a hint of clinical.
The examination area is where the innovative technology shines. High tech dentistry is Care Dental’s promise; their office “utilizes industry-leading technology to bring you a simpler, safer, and superior dental experience”, and it obvious when visiting their space.
The exterior design is clean and modern, utilizing warm greys and wood accents. The reception area is faced with a large curtain wall that allows great visibility in which provides a welcoming entry. To provide privacy to the exam areas Hatch custom designed the chestnut leaves pattern that was cut into metal. The same pattern was carried into various elements of the interior to nicely tie the design together.
