When our Allergy Clinic client came to us to design their new clinic, they had a very strong concepts in mind. A high-tech, bright and clean space with a very contemporary aesthetic. We worked closely with them to realize their vision and create a space which exceeded their expectations, and which continues to wow their patients.
The space incorporates a variety of bright white finishes, along with warm wood tones creating a space that feels comfortable with just the right amount of clinical. Gloss white millwork panels, full height wood-look barn doors with flooring to match and monolithic quartz countertops and backsplashes provided the majority of the finishes within this space. Custom LED lighting was designed to highlight the entry and corridor and a carefully planned entertainment wall was executed within the waiting area, both adding to the high-tech feel.
Cleanability and durability are both extremely important in an allergy clinic – materials need to be smooth to not harbour potential allergens and long wearing to withstand the rigorous cleaning regime necessary for the safety of their patients.
