Are you planning to open a hospitality based business and need help developing an interior that strengthens your brand? We had the unique opportunity to custom design the Microtel location in Kelowna, BC.
When the owners of Kelowna’s Microtel found that the newest brand standards were still under development and they engaged our team to complete the interior design of their hotel. We were provided an inspiration document prepared by Wyndham that included strong patterns paired with medium wood tones and bright pops of colour. From this we developed a scheme that is bold and sophisticated, an interior aimed to leave a lasting impression on their guests.
We love a good pattern on pattern and embraced this with a combination of punchy wallcoverings and custom carpet design throughout the public areas and guest rooms to define public areas on the main floor, and help wayfinding throughout the hotel. Warm wood and bright white surfaces contrasted with navy and black accents bring a reminiscent mid-century vibe, while maintaining a modern aesthetic.
