Are you expanding your business and need Hatch’s help? We were honoured to design our second clinic with this Dentist and loved the vision for Shore Dental’s elegant, sleek, and inviting space.
Shore Dental’s clinic was founded on a holistic approach to dentistry, with the intent to provide an elevated service to it’s patients. The emphasis for this clinic was on elegance in a timeless and welcoming atmosphere. We approached this request by introducing warm wood tones with gold metallic accents and high end finishes throughout which created an impactful reception flowing seamlessly into the sophisticated calm of the clinic corridor and treatment rooms. Despite the maturity of this clinic, the client wanted to make sure there was a special space for children which was addressed with a glass enclosed room off of reception outfited with a whimsical grey painted wall graphic and low tv out of sight.
We introduced a long span of glass at the entrance to emphasize the reception’s presence off the building’s comnmon corridor. Special attention was put to each little detail of the reception from the recessed wood slat ceiling, beautiful feature lights, texture of the velvet upholstered bench against the glossy tile slabs, down to the hardware and integrated storage behind reception. The seamless interplay between many finishes, varied textures and angular details blend together nicely all adding to the ‘wow’ of Shore Dental’s reception.
We worked closely with both the client and the equipment supplier to ensure the limited space of the staff areas were designed effectively to meet all the needs of workflow efficiency, storage and organization. The clean lines and sophistication of the treatment rooms allow patients to take in the amazing views through both south and west windows which overlook both the beach and mountains in the distance, utilizing as much of the natural lighting and beauty as possible.
